Waiting for info from the embassy, worried.

Hi everybody,

We got NOA2 on the SEP 11th 2008. Just a day before we knew the petition was approved, I applied for an extension of my stay in the US (I am here for the summer) because I was worried that it would take much longer...(I know that was stupid and costed me 300$ :-()

Now I am waiting for an info from my embassy (calling home all the time but it has been 2 weeks and they haven't sent anything yet...).

I also bought a ticket back to my country and I am leaving US in 2 weeks...with no decision if they extended my B2 visa...

My question is: did it cause any problem that I applied for extension my B2 visa? Maybe that is the reason they havent sent anything to my home yet?

When, hopefully, they invite me for an interview, will they say that I extended my stay and can they deny my visa because of that fact?

I need a little more information. What other visa did you apply for?

Well, I am here on my B2 visa and I applied for an extension (my I-94 form allowed me to stay only till the 20th of SEPT). I just filled the I-539 form online.

And, my fiance applied for a fiance visa for me (that is connected with NOA2 if you ask for that)
