Does visiting fiance in USA affect your k1 application?

Lots of people visit their fiance in the US while going through the visa process. Make sure you bring enough evidence with you upon entering the POE here in the US that shows strong ties to your home country so that the Border officials don't think you're trying to immigrate without a visa. Things like a letter from your employer saying when you're returning to work, lease from an apartment, title to a house, utilitiy or bank statements from your home. When you fill out some forms in this process, it will ask you when you've come to visit and the dates. It's okay to visit. There is no problem with them knowing. If you're worried that they'll know when you come that you've a visa in the process, never ever lie. I doubt they'll have that information available at the POE, but at the same time, if they ask, don't lie!
