I 134 Question?

I lost my job three weeks ago. I just received NOA 2 yesterday. Should I wait to fill out the I134 untill I find a new job or should I just send in a copy of my tax returns for the last couple of years? Is it even possible to fill out the form with no job listed? I work construction as an Electrician. So job loss does happen on occasion. "Construction the only job you work yourself out of!"

Thank you for your responses!!

Unless you can show liquid assets exceeding 3 times 125% poverty line, you wont be able to sponsor the prosepective immigrant without a co-sponsor, and manila is know to sometimes not accept a co-sponsor.

The I-134 is needed at the time of interview, hopefully you can show and list a job on the I-134.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Hello...I am also a construction worker(union) drywall finisher. I have a letter from my DC and local explaining the type of work and my status within the union and last 3 yrs of tax returns. I'm not sure if this applies to you but if you are union it is considered a full time job as long as your dues are up to date and you are seeking work through the hall. Hope this can help you!

Some said that Manila doesn't accept co-sponsorship but I say that depends on the CO. I got a co sponsor with my K1 visa and I am now in the US. There is always no harm in trying.. I suggest you get one. After NOA2 approval arrives everything is so fast so might as well you want to seek for a job ASAP. Your assets can help too.

Good Luck!
