We are looking into Airline Tickets for my Hubby :) and we found a good price one but the only thing is it the the POE will be New York and final destination is San Francisco. I am wary of this Port of Entry, I dont know why but I am..... Can anyone share their experiences with this Port of Entry. I feel it might be more diffcult but I could be wrong.... I would just pay $500 more to get his point of entry at San Francisco.... I dont know...

Nita - i dont think its really going to be an issue whichever ur POE is...they have to let your husband in if he has an approved visa. so dont stress too much and get the $500 cheaper flight. NY is a pretty good airport. i have taken flights and entered the country from there plenty of times and have never had issues. good luck!

A little. I stayed with friends when i was travelling for a year, up in Portola valley. My husband was living in Atherton at the time (before we were married) that where we met.

I will be living north bay when i return, Corte Madera.

I love the bay area. It is so beautiful

Emeryville...hmmm, i'm trying to figure out where that is in connection with place si know. I'm going to have a look.

It's the city you see once you cross the bay bridge from San Francisco...Where IKEA is at in the East Bay, Was made Famous because Pixar is here.....next to Berkeley :whistle:

North Bay is beautiful as well too much Rain though :lol:

I have heard that JFK is a good POE. I work with allot of people have come to the US for various reason. They have all said that going through JFK is much easier than going to any other city.

If it makes you feel any better Hayz's POE will be JFK. He could come straight to Atlanta, but it can be a nightmare here for immigrants

I live in NY. My first wife entered on a K-1 visa. It went fine until they said she needed to go into another room I believe to get sworn in but they wouldn't let me go with her. I am still trying to figure out if that is where she was replaced by her evil clone :devil::devil::devil: .

Seriously NY goes very smoothly especially if you go thru with her. It will be a bit different this time since there is a different line for permanent residents but if they ask her to go into a back room without me I will be checking her very carefully when she comes out. :whistle::whistle::whistle:
