Didn't expect to get NOA anymore but got it yesterday, sent by vermont service center

lease of joint tenancy or joint ownership of assests.

joint mortage agreement and/or property deed.

Tax returns.

Birth certificate(s) of any children born to the marriage.

joint policies of life, meeical and/or car insurance.

(all of these were sent in our package, except for the birth certificate cause we had a miscarriage,so we just sent the hospital emergency documents)

Upon receipt of your ASC apponitment notice, you can find the status of your case on-line at www.uscis.gov . to view the status of your case, enter the application number found at the top of the ASC appointment notice. The I751 form type will be listed as xxxxx under the application type in oiur case on-line tool.

can anyone explain to me ? which date should i consider ? receipt date or notice date ? just wanna know how long is my extension valid ?

Wow! So there is still hope for me! Way to go! hmmm - would have been nicer, though, if they had just sent you your green card instead!

--- the 1 yr extension is from the expiration of your conditional greencard. For example.. you submitted it feb.. so I supposed the expiration of your 2 yrs GC is somewhat in May 2008, so it gonna be extended for 1 yr... and it will expires around May 2009.

It would be one year from the day your green card expired. The NOA works with the green card - you use both of them together - so it extends your green card for one year. If your green card expired in February - it would be until next February. If your green card expired in May, it would be next May. The date on the NOA isn't what matters, ultimately, as it is used in conjunction with the green card.

This gives me some hope too. My I-751 was received by TSC on 3-25-08. I never received a NOA with one year extension. So if you filed on feb 25th and just recvd it today, then I should be expecting mine in about a month from today.!!

Am I reading this right? It is taking them 6 months to send NOAs and by the time you receive them, your green card is very much expired? We just filed this past weekend, card expires in December. My husband needs to travel ALL THE TIME!
