What should be ATTN for address to send DS230? CMR OR DS???

National Visa Center

ATTN: CMR

32 Rochester Avenue

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909

Is this correct?

Also, did anyone send photocopies of orginal documents?? I remember reading somewhere about sending originals and its photocopies...just trying to confirm my doubt...is this required?

thanks,

CS

crazysamurai.. ATTN is DR not DS. CMR is for I864.

Also yes you require originals or certified copies to sent from original source. certified copies are not same as notarized copy that we get any lawyer to stamp it... it needs to be from the original source who generated the document or any government agency.

I'd send originals only instead of going thru hassles of getting the certified copies. They will return the originals at time of interview to your spouse.

I sent in my DS-230 with all original documents. My passport identification I sent with a notorized true copy. For some reason immigration need to see and feel the seals of "true documents" You will need to send them the original birth certificate too ( my husband applied for a copy of his birth certificate and i sent in his original) Police back ground checks also have to be the original papers.

Hope this helps

Darcy

Sounds like a waste of paperwork and could just slow down the processing. As long as you send in originals kep the photocopies for your records for when you have the interview so you can show proof that the originals are yours.
