Salams ladies,

well it's too late to lose weight for my wedding that came and went and if I keep this up, I won't even be able to fit into my wedding dress less that a year later. I was watching Tyra and thought I'd try the Special K challenge to keep me started. If anyone cares to join just sign up - you replace two meals each day with a bowl of cereal and fruit, not so hard. If I can loose 6 pounds in two weeks why not?

I would welcome the company :)

Hey Prena..Not doing the special K challenge, but I'm definately on a program...Mostly low carb and lots of exercise..I've already lost a lot of weight, 100 lbs + to be exact over the course of the last 18 months..I started to gain a bit back after my trip to Morocco, mostly because of the stress of the separation and the impending nightmare of this visa process..But I recently got back on the horse, still need to lose about 25 more to be where I want to be. By the way, I'm Dawn..I see your posts here and in Doreen's group. I hope we can offer each other support in this! Talk to you soon.

February 28, 2007 VISA IN HAND!!!!!!

March 21, 2007 Arrival in USA

May 25, 2007 Married

June 12, 2007 He went to jail because he tried to kill me.

October 18, 2007 Out of jail and back to Morocco.

thanks for the response. I have been really busy with school, but I am no longer an active member in Doreen's group due to some, in my opinion, hurtful remarks by some members there. Rather than add to the hurtful tone, I no longer post there. However, I find VJ to be extremely supportive and post more often here.

I just got back on the wagon w/ Weight Watchers (lost 33 lbs w/ this a couple of yrs ago - gained abt 18 back in the last yr cuz I've been not paying attention) so, I'll skip the Special K, but I'll count points w/ you and keep track of our weight loss together!! I just started this week again so, it's fresh for me. Good luck.... let's lose it together!

I was thinking about doing that E diet thing online. Anyone try that? I know stress makes me gain weight and lately I been stressed out a little plus taking a vacation all i wanted to do was be lazy and eat. I just need some motivation to get me going.. I am not a cereal eater when i do i eat that low carb oatmeal cereal. But i am game for the challenge maybe I'll feel better losing some weight cuz now i feel like a big lump :)
