I changed my address online yesterday and I logged in today to see if I had a new touch like I do everyday at least 10 times. It had been touched yesterday. Does this mean that they just updated my address or does it mean they are actually looking at my case. I saw this topic a while back but cant seem to find it now. Am I just having wishful thinking?

I-130 Sent : 2008-06-14

I-130 NOA1 : 2008-06-20

I-129F Sent : 2008-07-17

I-129F NOA1 : 2008-07-21

I-129F NOA2 : 2008-09-26

Touched - 2008-07-23

Touched - 2008-09-18

You may want to call USCIS, to confirm the address change, I have seen many cases where the address is not changed on a pending petition and NOA letters then get lost in the mail.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

a touch means they have done something with your file. but, I would also confirm the address change.

I married my love on 12/24/07

I filed for the I 130 on 1/23/08

Receipt number recevied 2/13/08

Paperwork sent to Guangzhou on 1/23/09

Interview 5/21/09 PASSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Visa 5/23/09

POE 6/2/09

Home 6/3/09

FILED I-751

SENT PAPERWORK 3/8/11

NOA-1 3/10/11

BIOMETERICS 4/29/11

WAITING APPROVAL

I had 2 touches when did change of address, you can see that in my signature.

02/14/2008 Valentine`s Day Wedding!

04/09/2008 I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

05/03/2008 call to USCIS because NOA1 not received ;( Got the receipt number and was told that we cannot get replacement NOA1.

08/21/2008 request for NOA1 for I-130 to file AOS placed over the phone and forwarded to VSC. Thanks to the first great Rep at USCIS hotline

10/17/2008 Hubby`s B-day, NOA1 for I-130 finally arrives!

10/21/2008 AOS sent to Chicago lockbox

10/31/2008 NOAs for AOS received

11/06/2008 I-130 is transferred to CSC

11/20/2008 biometrics done

12/02/2008 I-130 APPROVED!!!

01/02/2009 EAD received

02/12/2009 Interview APPROVED!!!

you should also receive a confirmation notice at your new address...first time i changed mine i didnt receive that notice....the second time i did (six months later !!), both times i did it over the phone with an operator at VSC
