Hi ChinaBabe,

Since you're also at the VSC, you can add your name and information to the following message thread list: "VSC I-751 Status List" (look for the last updated list on the last page), so you can see and track your progress too, compared to other VJers on the same situation at the VSC: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=110056

And yes, there are others there that are still waiting, like you....

I am thinking to file the N400 on 12/12/08 (the day i become eligible). The problem is that what if i didn't receive the 10 year green card yet by then. Can I still file N400 anyway, or do i have to wait for it.

Also about the new test, anybody know detail infomation about it? are we gonna have the test the same day as the interview or what? How can we be well prepared for it?

Yes you can file for the N-400 before the removal of conditions has been approved, in fact that is the only way of forcing USCIS to make a desision on your case.

All of the new questions for the test are available on the USCIS website http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...0004718190aRCRD

you can study from the list of questions there and also when you go for your biometric after you file the N-400 you will be given a booklet with all the questions in it. The interview includes the test, so yes it is all done on the same day.

another question, what do i need to file with N400, any document or anyting? I know I need the copy of my green card, since most likely i won't have 10 year green card by then, i think i might need the copy of one year extended letter as well. What else do i need?

Hi ChinaBabe,

From what I've found on the USCIS' website before (I think this was posted in another message thread in the Naturalization/Citizenship VJ forum too), here is the link that tells you specifically what you need paper-work wise for that stage of the immigration process:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00048f3d6a1RCRD

Hope this helps. Good luck on your immigration journey.

Ant (Still waiting at the VSC...)

P.S. Thanks too, for adding your name to the VSC Status List. This is definitely helpful for all VJers indeed.

Hi TayRivers,

Even though it wasn't addressed to me, still, thanks for the USCIS link about the citizenship test questions (I'll have to read up on those questions sometime), the info about getting the citizenship question booklet during the biometrics, and for the additional info about filing for the N-400 beforehand in case the I-751 is not approved in time.

It's good to learn something new from other posts here on VJ, indeed.

Good luck with your immigration journey too.

Is all the questions come from that 100 questions. I saw there is a list of 144 questions as well in the website. What is that about?
