Yes star...the K visas barely stop at NVC before flying overseas. I heard there is a way to track the package by DHL..I have to find lulu for that trick.

Damn girl, we haven't even gotten our documents together - G needs to get his police certificate. I think the CR-1 is slower anyway but G will have the GC shortly after arrival.

I bet all this will happen when I'm out of town. I'm going to Mexico in less that 2 weeks for 5 days, on vacation. Well, I'm sure by the time I get back our case will be on it's way to Casa (if not sooner!)

Ours was 8 days from Cali to Nvc and out the door.

Approved Sept 8th...got to NVC on the 12th...sat for the weekend and out by Tuesday. I love this part! Everyone is so helpful at NVC. Let's hope Amman is as good to us.

WOW! I'm glad I started getting everything together then before we got approved, cause the next couple of weeks I'm going to be busy with work and then vacation.

Did I tell you all I'm going to be in a fashion show next week. It's at a library conference in the city. Totally a-la-Project Runway style. Designs by librarians and model librarians too. But the MC is Steven Rosengard from Project Runway! I'm one of the models. But it's not all glitz and glamour - the designs are library/literary inspired. Should be interesting! Haven't even tried my outfit on yet

I am pretty sure it could not be in October. Two of my buddies,,,lulu and hani...got to Amman 2 or 3 weeks ago and they are early Nov. Best I can hope for is end of November or December. It will be nice to have a date to look forward to.
