When I called to make the new appoinment for the SECOND interview, They just kept asking .....IS THERE A RED STAMP ON YOUR paper (this is the paper which the consul gave me to explain... section 221(g), lack of evidence,,,,,( bring your fiance "suggested"))

And NO, I don't have a red stamp.... What does this mean?

Im sorry this happened. They wont just release your passport back to you?

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

thats weird,US embassy here in Bangkok never keeps your passport if they need 2nd interview, they will just tell you to come back later and bring your passport with you.

why do you have to pay for the PIN just to go get your passport back? can't you just go the embassy and ask for your passport back?

i think it's different here in Thailand then.

i'm sorry about what happened to you but i hope they give your passport back.
