Hello,

i am new to this forum and i am in the process of preparing a I-129F application to process my fiance visa, i have to questions for anybody that can help:

1. since my fiance has a unmarried children under 21 that i want to include in the application so his visa can be processed, do i need to add any additional G-325a form for him, or just adding him to the I-129F form will be enough?

2. due to some financial difficulties i probably wont be able to meet the requirements for the affidavit of support, can i use a sponsor, and if so, does he need to be a us citizen or can he be a permanent resident, i downloaded the I-134 form and there is an option for permanent resident, but i want to make sure, also does the sponsor have to be a relative or can he be just a close friend?

Thanks

At the petition stage, children don't need a G325a. Just list them on the I-129F. (a petition, not an application)

Later each intending immigrant will "apply for a visa" abroad and the K2 children will need to adjust status to permanent resident after arrival, just like he will. If you haven't already done so, you'll also want to check into the custody and other parent permission issues before making any promises.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

It can be any US Citizen or Permanent Resident providing they live in the US. The joint sponsor does not have to be a family member and can be a friend. Check Page 3, What is a Joint Sponsor:
