Hi fellow vj'ers. I'm a little confused on how I should go about my son's birth certificate. I was told by the officer at the local civil registrar that I no longer need to send it to my husband for him to sign the back part (AFFIDAVIT OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT/PATERNITY) since we're already MARRIED. But I was also told by other fellow VJ'ers that i'd need to have my husband sign the acknowledgement.

:help:

anybody on k-3 who has done the same thing? thanks a lot! :)

it actually helped a lot! so i guess i won't send it to my husband anymore. waaahh i dunno.

Do what the US embassy tells you to do.

i guess i'd give them a call to clarify everything. all they ask is a copy of the baby's BC issued by the NSO. not stating that it has to be acknowledge by the USC father. :)
