Hi,

Sorry if any of my questions have already been answered before.

1. First I was born in the Philippines and was naturalized a few years later.

In question 10 on the I-129F form I picked the naturalization box. I can answer the certificate number and date but nowhere in my certificate of citizenship shows a place of issue. Any idea how to answer it?

After that select "yes" if I obtained the certificate of citizenship and copy the same answer above right? Hopefully my questions made sense.

2. In the G-325A it asks for my Alien registration number, since I am a US citizen I can just put "n/a" right?

Thanks in advance

1) Where you took your oath, is your place of issuance. Even a county is fine. I remember going to INS (called at the time) in LA, CA to get my picture taken for my USC papers. I put Los Angeles as this is where I believe it was issued. If you dont have any clue, on your USC document, there should be your current address at the time that you had your USC issued to you. Use that address and find out the nearest Immigration office from USCIS which does USC applications and place that on your Place of Issuance. I wish I knew where you were from so its easier to tell you what to put. And yes, check box it.

2) Your A# is on your Certificate of Citizenship, and starts with A. You were still documented as an "Alien" when you first arrived in the US. You just wasn't an illegal alien, or at least we hope not, coz if you were, you wouldnt be a USC. Hope that makes sense.

thanks for the quick reply.

So for question 10 of I-129F

Since I actually got my citizenship through my mom when she got her citizenship. I just left the naturalization box empty and put an X on the parents box. I then selected "yes" if I obtained a certificate of citizenship.

wrote down the certificate #, date of issue, phoenix,az

hopefully I got it right.

Thanks
