Hello,

I was just wondering when exactly I should be expecting the letter for my biometrics appointment. I have checked some of the timelines and they seem to have received it not too long after receiving their NOA. Should I be concerned, or just wait it out?? And how long should I wait?? Thanks! ps as you can see by my timeline, I received my NOA on August 11.

I would not panic just yet.

My NOA date was June 10th. My Bio appointment was for July 15th.

Probably in the mail already...30-40 days after NOA is not unusual.

For some reason, CSC seems to be a little quicker than VSC on this point. But, like the other posts, you are probably going to see this in a week or sooner. Remember, we just finished August, which is the month most people take vacation so maybe you got caught in the VSC vacation cycle.

Likewise, I'm in the same situation with the I-751 at the VSC, I submitted my paperwork in August, got my NOA about a week later, and am still waiting for the biometrics letter in September too (see my VJ timeline). I don't want to be too concerned about the biometrics letter either, though I would like to get it done as soon as possible and wonder what's keeping them so long. Meanwhile, the only thing to do is to wait and be patient....

By the way, since you're also at the VSC, you can add your name and information to the following message thread list: "VSC I-751 Status List" (look for the last updated list on the last page), so you can see and track your progress too, compared to other VJers on the same boat:
