Hi,

I just got a letter from NVC yesterday that has the following on the third page. The first page says to review the missing documents, 2nd page is the barcode sheet and the thrid page has following:

______OF-230-I:______________________________________________________________________

the NVC has received the requested I-864 for this case. however we are still waiting for the DS-230

Please submit the form according to the instruction. if you need another form please visit

HTTP://travel.state.gov/visa/info/info_1335.html to download a new form and complete instructions

My question is that it has the address to send it to Attn: DR instead of CMR...do I send it to DR address that they listed in this letter or the barcode sheet that has the address I printed off after my online payment of IV bill cleared? I'm confused on which cover letter I should use and where to send it.

You want to use the address on the barcode sheet that was mailed to you. Hope that helps.

I would go with what you got in the mail from NVC. But I don't think it matters too much. For my DS230 RFE, I printed and used the same barcode/ATTN: address I used to send it the first time.

Did you pay online? This is the FALSE RFE everyone speaks about. I just got my actual form(was at my perm address for several weeks and it was just forwarded to me where I work 800 miles away) and it has the same thing on it. I also got another RFE after I submitted my DS230 package and it is the same as the OP's except it had ____________MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE____________. Did you send in your 864 in already? The NVC is waiting for your DS230 Package to be sent in. I would definitely use the CMR address.

Please fill in your timeline so that others can benefit from your experience as well.
