We used first class with tracking number, and signature request, sent in September 2 and it arrived yesterday. I don't think sending it overnight

is going to make much difference, but its up to you. Contact name and phone number should be the petitioner and phone number should be where they would contact during business hours I would think. Good luck with your VISA. TRIPLE CHECK everything before sealing that envelope! :innocent:

we sent usps overnight as it was only a few dollars more and I wanted to be 100% certain it was there and signed for. ;) Small expense for my sanity after years of waiting to file. ;)

Not sure what your question is regarding the phone number...on the slip? For the uscis?

Just make sure you don't address a UPS package to a PO Box.

You're mailing a petition, not an application, so please get used to using the correct terms.

I think what is important is to have confirmation your package was received. One day or two days to get there isn't going to mean much in a months long process. I like USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation. Ask for it that way and you'll get what you need.

Sorry, I meant to say petition, not application. I'm too excited to think straight. ;) Anyways I figured out how to format it for the label. I'm going to be sending it here as stated on the attached link:

Trust me, it's worth it. We've been waiting for over a year to be able to get to this point of filing. =) Every day is precious.
