hi there don't wait for the appointment letter. grace of immigrant visa unit told me that it's just a formallity. once they received your case from NVC they have to update their file first to indicate that you are already elligible for interview. my appoinment letter arrived yesterday (a month after NVC sent our file to USE). it's funny because i was already done with the interview when the letter came.

you may call the immigrant visa unit. the # is 02-301-2000 local 5184 to 5185. give it a week or two after NVC has sent your file. when you call them ask also if you are already elligible for interview then if ever you are elligible they will advice you to call the call center for the interview appointment. good luck fellow Feb CSC filer.

Call the NVC early in the a.m., or around 22:30. Follow the prompts for English, then press 1, then press 5 that will get you in cue for a operator. When you get her/him have your EAC number ready. They will ask your name, birth date and phone number. Then they will ask for hers.

Ask for your NVC number. You can schedule your interview once you have the number.
