I plan on being in England for the entire K-1 process. My mother is going to help us with the mail. (Mail documents overseas to her, have her send them from my US address, in turn she will mail me any documents sent back...)

Do you see any problem with this? I don't actually need to be there do I? (No in person interviews or phone calls etc...?)

Thanks!

Kate

Your absence from the US is likely to spawn the need for a co-sponsor. Otherwise, no real problem with your plan.

My OH has filed from overseas due from being in the USAF, hasn't caused any problems with us. Only downside is mail takes a little longer but that's no big deal.

My fiancee (USC) and I (UKC) are halfway through the K1 Process and have been doing everything from the UK. She is here on a work permit. We sent everything from here using trackable Fedex and used her parent's address who then emailed across our NOAs. As Pushbrk says the only issue is that her UK income cannot be used as part of the income requirements as it will not continue when we go back to the US. Her parents will be our cosponsors.

Good luck!
