Hi everybody! Yesterday my fiance sent me a link with instructions on how to try to find and track the DHL package with your petition in it. I'm trying to find that same or similar link because I wanted to give it a go. Any ideas?

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Thanks, Dixie. I've got that part but he sent me a previous VJ thread that told you what to put in the dhl tracking reference line. It's whatever the NVC puts on the envelopes as a reference. If anyone knows the thread I'm talking about that would be helpful. I know once you get that up you still have to thumb through a bunch of different ones AND that you're not guaranteed to find it, but I'll give it a try. I grilled poor Max at the NVC last night, "when you say it 'went out'...does that mean it's gone out or is just sitting in a pile to go out in the next week?"

He was pretty adamant that it had already gone out so I just wanted to see if I could find it.

The DHL tracking isnt exact it's more of a guestimate as they send in batches. The reference you need if i remember correctly is Expedite Immigant Visa Unit. Then it should list all the packages sent from NVC to the embassies world wide. You find your embassy and hope you have the right package because the cases arent listed individually.

I just tried typing in EXPEDITE IMMIGRANT VISA UNIT... and it would not work... the only thing that worked for me is typing in EXPEDITE NIV SECTION... and looking for the appropriate consulate...

Try typing "correspondence". Put in the date range of 5-18-06 through 5-22-06. This will show you several cases recently sent......

are you tracking by reference? if so... i just typed correspondence into the reference box... with the appropriate dates... and got this message: Reference not unique. Please narrow your search criteria.

maybe you need to give us step by step instructions... lol
