Has anyone gotten a RFE about the IMBRA?

Just wondering. It seems that there has been no movement at all from the sevice centers. I would like to know if there has been any RFE's or touches in the last week or two. Please share with us!

Vermont just changed their processing date to March 6 so looks like they are working on the recalled cases.

I just checked my status online.

Still the same old thing: approved on April...

My Consular Officer told me they sent my petition back via FedEx last week, and the NVC should have it by now.

I called NVC yesterday and they said they don´t keep records of petitions being returned. They will only check for the right Service Center and fwd it to them.

So depending on how fast the NVC works (they told me this should be done quickly) USCIS might be receiving my application at anytime.

As I´m totally paranoid right now, I´m sure I´ll know as soon as they update my case. That is, IF they do it.

Should I call USCIS? I know they say they don´t have a clue, but it´s written on the damn statement that we should contact them for information.

And as far as I know, "we have no information" is not an information!!!

I managed to track down an package sent from Brazil to the NVC on May 18th. It says they received it yesterday in the morning.

Even though it says the package only weights 0.5 pounds and we had 20 petitions returning from Brazil, I´m guessing that it must be it! They told me they had sent it on May 18th, so...

If NVC works fast (and they said they don´t even keep these records there) I´m hoping that VSC will have my application today.

I think I´m gonna wait until tomorrow checking on the website for un update on my receipt number and then give them a call if needed.

Also, does anyone know when is that Official Statement from? When was that released? I only read yesterday, but is there any chance that it was there since, let´s say, 2 or 3 weeks ago?

The memo was released on May 6th, from the official DHS website.

I guess it took them a while to have it available on their site. I check there regularly and it definately wasnt there a couple of days ago.

RFE = Request for Evidence, it´s when they send you a notice asking for further evidence appart from what you´ve sent them already, you´ve gone over that part since you´re past approval, unless they do require a new form with the IMBRA law, in which case you could get an RFE.

A touch is when they update your case last update date on the USCIS status online page (you need to have an account to view that).
