Hello, I am a Cr1 filer I just want to ask if is it neccessary to send a copy of your passport using my married name? What about sending a copy of my passport using my maiden name to NVC? Im pregnant and my due will be next month already. I haven't renew yet my passport.

Please help me. Thank you

That will work as your marriage cerificate will back it up!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Thank you, so its okay to send using my maiden name? have you tried this one? i just want to make things sure before i will send it without any mistake. I am confuse because my friend said it should be in my husband's last name. So what do you think? please bear with me.

Hi thank you for your reply, so is it okay to send my passport even in my maiden name? the fact that i have a supporting docs which is my marriage certificate. Please bear with me i just want to make things right before I can send it. I was Lim before now Im Fernandez, so using my Lim's passport wont be mistake if il send it? Please let me know hope to hear from u again.
