I maybe a head of myself, but I want to prepare myself and be ready so I can be in and out of NVC. While reading the beautiful guide Loto created, I noted that original documents are request with DS-230. Please confirm is that is so, so that I can have my Hubby send me the original documents.

You must send certified copies - the kind you order from the government authority that issues such documents in your country.

all documents are original right? just a passport to be photocopy?

Yes, passport is just a photocopy - however remember you also need to send in a photocopy of each of the other documents - as well as the certified copy.

Hi, regarding a copy of passport, i just want to ask if its okay to send a copy of my passport using my maiden name? I have not renew my passport yet because Im pregnant and my due will be next month ( september ). Please help me? does it really neccessary to send a copy of my passport using my husband's last name? Please help me.

u can email ds3032 once it was generated like i did..but my mistake it was generated long time ago and i just emailed it just this time...tsk tsk tsk

I don't think it matters who the agent is when sending it in. I would just send it! And if you can express mail overnight the better!

thats my concern also.. but just to be sure,im going to renew my passport coz i have to attend seminar also to be able to renew it.. im about to go to manila tomorrow for the seminar and hopefully i can go to DFA in the afternoon...

where u from? cant u really make it to renew it? im about to renew mine tomorrow.. and also u should have Police and NBI clearance too...
