Recently, I have started to form this feeling about NVC, that operators are good for nothing.

I called her and she gave me a piece of advice about PCC that is not matching with rest of them.

I got the original, should I just go ahead and submit it seperatly? or should I wait?

I guess I will wait...

I dont know how to prove if my marriage is legit, going through USCIS should be prove enough for them!

I am in the same predicament. I am getting worried now if I also have to submit 2 affidavits for Bona Fide marriage. I thought USCIS was supposed to do this??? If they approved it without submitting any affidavits, why would NVC ask for them???

I think at interview you'll need all the prove, pics etc...

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Translations are not needed if interview is in home country.

Copies of documents are acceptable, as long as the original is available at time of interview.

There are some exceptions, such as sealed PCC. Obviously since it's sealed, there's no way to send a copy.

Man, everybody's going gold and platinum around here...I'm gettin' left behind in so many different ways :(

Speaking of getting left....took Ring Ring to the airport this morning. It was sad, but I was happy that it would be the last

time she every comes to Chicago as a "visitor".

Update for spreadsheet (not a good one)...RFE on AOS...found out this afternoon from an operator...kinda had a feeling this would be happening, no big deal...I claimed my 21 year old daughter on my taxes for 05,06 and 07 while she was attending college...she moved out with her boyfriend mid January of this year, so I do not plan on claiming her this year (2008), so when I was asked the dependants question on the I-864 I answered as to the CURRENT correct answer for that question as of THIS year (2008)...unfortunately the 3 tax transcripts I provided have her listed as a dependant...what sucks is that I was only trying to answer any and every question absolutely honestly...so, I downloaded another copy of the I-864 filled it out changing the dependant total to 3, instead of the current correct answer of 2, attached another barcoded coversheet and overnighted it to NVC...I was also told by the same operator that sending copies of the transcripts again wasn't neccessary as they already have the ones I sent originally...does that sound right ???

Ling-Nimche, congrats on getting your DS-230s out ! congrats to everyone else that moved forward as well...next week we will be seeing alot of "CASE COMPLETE" on the spreadsheet

BTW: the operator never came right out and said the dependant question was the problem...after looking over the copy of what I sent, that was the only thing I could think of, not to mention the first thing I thought of when I heard RFE....good luck to all

Yars, sorry to hear about the RFE. I know how much that sucks, but at least it's something simple.

Nimche, thanks for alerting me on going gold. Wow...I feel like a rock-star.

ok called the operator Leo.. and he/she (not sure which) said they are still "reviewing" the request for consulate changes and my take until the 20th to decide.

Next i fedexed my I864 and was recieved there at 1030 this morning but they don't have it in the system yet. I asked when I can pay the IV bill and he/she said @ 3 days after the first was "paid" well that would make it tomorrow. Yikes why does mine seem to take longer than others????

Anyway, sorry about the RFE i am worried about that myself now.... keeping my fingers crossed the reason i was married before and the tax transcripts have my other married name and his income on it/which i didn't claim for myself. I listed all the kids even though we share custody just in case...

Have you been moonlighting man?

So is Ring Ring going to be here after Oct. 22nd?

That's not bad at all, about a month.

Ling Ling, goodluck. The freaking operator scared the sh*t out of me by saying I needed to send original PCC or a letter explaining it. I hope I won't get an RFE.

I have to keep calling to make sure when it appeares on my case.

I got the original, do you think I should send them along with barcode page?

No moonlighting...but have been doing a little work. OH...Ring Ring's throat got better, and her cough went away..a day before she left.

At least she knows I'll take care of her, in sickness and in health.

Oct. 22nd is her last day of work. The earliest she'd come home would be the end of October. But it's probably going to be the first or second week of November.

Somehow I feel a LOT more calm now.

YOUR PCC...I wouldn't risk sending the RARE original, unless I had to. You had like 2 out of 3 operators say you could send a copy right?

From what we've seen on RFEs...IF you received and RFE because of the PCC, you'd be 1 day away from them getting the original, and 2 to 3 days away from Case Complete. Knowing what you went through to get it...I'd make them insist on the original.
