I just checked my case on the USCIS website, It was touched again on 9/08/2008 any idea why?

I had after touch too. I guess they just miss you too much. My guess is that USCIS will store some of your files in storage and thats why you get a touch as they move them out of the process.

OK!! NVC had all our documentation, now Waiting Time!!

My husband couldn't speak with an Operator yesterday!!!!

He received in the mail the "DS-3032 Accepted" and the "AOS Package Request" Hardcopy, yesterday!!

(Shapt, The Hardcopies are not very fast, but NVC is not the USCIS, you can see my signature. Good luck!)

On 15th Sept is our First Anniversary!!

He is going to travel to Spain, and We are going to spend some days in Canary Islands!!!

IIN Recieved (in mail) and AOS bill payed 09-08-2008

Do I wait for it to say AOS paid to send the forms or can I do it tomorrow?

she told me that they would mail me the IIN. so it is true??

which document is that on?

I have called a zillion times...and still no luck....

BUT they did tell me my email for DS-3032 was accepted and that my forms have been generated...now if i could only get that IIN!!

Okay guys. I know i am way behind but technically i am a September approved. I called NVC this morning at 7:32 to beat the rush and only had to wait 3 minutes to speak to an operator. She said that my case has been recieved but no case number has been assigned yet. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to assign a case number? In my excitement i forgot to find out when they recieved it.

I NEVER give up, mate! I would even call up until 11:59:59, not that they would answer though. LOL

Anywyas, I just got off with speaking with operator. I called about 30 times in 5 minutes, getting busy signal, or transfered back to automated line, before I was put into the queue to speak with operator. Got the wonderful Kate and she let me know that they have finished reviewing everything and every thing has been accepted...my case will be complete in a day or two. YIPEEEEEE!

Call them again and say that the IIN was not on your AOS fee bill and that you would like to pay the fees online, keep trying to do that and someone with a brain will give it to you. Dont give up on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It should have been on the AOS fee bill but if it wasnt ( or even if you dont know because you havent gotten it) tell them that and they should give it to you. GL Shrewd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and if they did accept your email DS-3032 then you will be able to pay the IV fee bill soon too

No it does not have to be apostilized, just original is fine, and the translation with certification by the translation agent that he is qualified (see instructions on state.gov)

Shrewdgal, My Husband never obtained the IIN by phone!! We got our IIN in the Hardcopy received in the mail, you can see the date in my signature! You can ask to the operator when they sent you the hardcopy!!

Kimf, I do not know if the PCC needs to be Apostillized. I Apostillized my PCC because I have a doubt, and I decided to do it!

I got the IIN number in the mail about 2 weeks after the case got to NVC.

Well that was my 10th try for IIN, still no luck.... dammit lol

I guess as our bill is already generated, it may be easier to wait for the post now. The woman actually said we have been told we are not allowed to give out that information anymore
