Any ideas?

Anyone know of a person contacting the London embassy to get them to request documents for the CR-1 once it is case complete at the NVC, so that it makes it to the consulate for a sheduled K3 interview?

Hope this makes sense.

Which visa are you doing CR-1 OR K-3???

Many on K-3 track that had I-130 approved and sent to NVC will keep the CR-1 going through NVC and hope it gets sent to consulate before K-3 interview, this way the consulate will drop the K-3 in favor of the CR-1. OR they will get K-3 interview rescheduled or hold on sending K-3 Packet 3 back to embassy or consulate in order to let CR-1 petition catch up.

If you enter the USA on CR-1 visa, then NO AOS needed. CR-1 has the advantage of GREEN-CARD on entry to the USA, and can imediatly take a JOB, get SSN, and apply for a driver's licenence after getting SSN. K-3 CANNOT take a JOB, get SSN, or apply for driver's license until after getting EAD or Green-card. EAD can take 90 days or more.

I have kept both going, and i held back packet 3, then i sent it packet 3 becasue everything was nearly at the NVC, then something i was sending to my husband took over a week to get there, then we got a RFE. Tthey have everything now. I think it will be touch and go if i will get CR-1 to the interview in time.

So i was wondering if i get case complete,a couple of days before can i get LOndon to request my case, so then it will get there before the 5th of September?
