You may want to call as soon as the open which is 7am EST. You first press 1 for english and then 5 to speak to an rep at NVC good luck.

USCIS Journey

03/15/08 Sent I-130

03/17/08 I-130 received (USPS) (Priority Date)

06/28/08 Received NOA2 hardcopy: NO RFE FROM USCIS:101 days

NVC Journey

07/01/08 NVC case# assigned

08/14/08 CASE COMPLETE: NO RFE FROM NVC:44 days

09/15/08 Interview date assigned

Embassy Journey

10/01/08 Case at embassy

10/08/08 Document verification and got interviewed (Approved)

10/09/08 Pick up visa (original interview date)

I HAVE BEEN CALLING NVC AND IT WAS THE AUTOMATED MACHINE THAT DO ANSWER ME AND I WANT TO TALK TO AN OPERATOR PLEASE ANYBODY WITH THE NUMBER AND HOW I CAN DO THAT.

The operators will not talk to you until you have entered your timeline in VisaJourney.

Really, it helps ALL of us, especially those that haven't made it to NVC yet.

When you call NVC the first option is for English or Spanish.

Press 1 for English, and 2 for Spanish.

The second option is for 24hr IVR or Operator assistance (from 7:30am - Midnight EST).

Press 1 for IVR, and 5 (FIVE) for Operator

Please add your timeline, that would be a great thanks for this response.

I always got through quickly whenever I called at 11:30 p.m. (EST) and the customer service reps were a lot nicer and more helpful than the ones I got during the day.

It's true. Don't give up if you keep having trouble getting through to an operator. Certain parts of the day are truly awful for getting through, just call back late at night.

Long story short, we have a complicated case. We've been at this for nearly 5 years. You can read our story here. I highly recommend our attorney Laurel Scott, as well as attorneys Laura Fernandez and Lizz Cannon .

Filed I-130 via CSC in Feb 2008. Petition approved June 2008. Consular interview in Mexico, Oct 2008, visa denied, INA 212a6cii. We allege improper application of the law in this case.

2012, started over in Seoul: I-130 filed DCF on 7/2, I-130 approved 8/8, Medical at Yonsei Severance 11/20, IR1 appointment in November 2012.

CRBA filed 1-3-13 at Seoul for our daughter
