Hi All!

You can add my name to the tracker too - we got a 221g for more relationship info. The good news for us is that there is something we can do - hand in the paperwork they are requesting. But, we don't know how long it will take them to make a decision and I think there is still a strong possibility that even after we do hand in the required info they can send us right back into AP for security/name checks/doc verification.

It's like the saga that nevers ends...

My husband's case is complete at the embassy.

He is to report to the embassy on December 2nd or 4th. I was so excited I can't remember now. I only remember that he will be here before Christmas. What a wonderful Christmas present.

iam stuck in AP its going to be three months since my interview i called the DOS many times still in AP and one month ago the embassy in islamabad called me and asked me about my travels just a few question and i call to DOS any time they say did they call u and always my answer is yes they called me then they say its in processing call the embassy and i cant get anyone on the phone here in islamabad its always busy i e mailed them many times

so guys i gues its the 6 month mark on average for AP to be done unless we get real lucky...

Thanks for your kind words.

My fiancee's AP seems to be completed, but I will believe when we've got the visa in hand.

We are leaving for Ankara in a week or so.

I hope everyone else is through with theirs ASAP. It is a horrible thing to go through. I wish they would just remove the uncertainty and give people more information on the status of their cases. it would make things easier on everyone and the number of emails the consulate receives would certainly decrease.

Khengool - did you contact the embassy in Ankara? What did they say? Does your fiance have to update her medical?

Sorry for all of the questions, but my fiance is waiting to for AP clearance from Ankara too, so I'm wondering what the protocol is.

Hi all,

We have been on AP since August 12, 2008. I called the DOS this afternoon and found out AP is now complete and my husband will have his 2nd interview on December 8, 2008.

I have a question though. Is he supposed to bring all the evidence he brought with him to the first interview? I know he will need to get another police certificate because the other one expired in July.
