your case was denied and reaffirmed by uscis i thought u were waiting on next interview date i mentioned uscis n nvc cos idk the process if uscis sends u back to nvc or straight to embassy to get interview date........but once u were denied at embassy and ur petition returned the ap stopped and now ur at the beginning again waiting for embassy to give u interview again.... That isnt ap its the process it takes to get another interview after denial then after the interview u may face ap again but maybe not

Hello everyone, is there anyone that applied at London and still going through AP ?

The Pakistani embassy is closed 4 days this week for Eid and Veterans Day. I hope they will do some work on Thursday when they are open and there will be a lot of people that get out of AP.

My congressman is trying to get the embassy to email him. I hope they will do it and tell him our case is in normal processing like they did for Eabbas. It would be nice to have some positive news about our visa.

well we just called dos today and got one answer i think we may be stuck in name checks we were told that the fbi report hasnt been finalized and they are still working on that omg does this mean ap is going to take a lot longer for us????????

Don't lose hope Eabbas! You and your husband have a way of getting information out of DOS that the rest of us don't get. The average time for AP in Islamabad is 4 to 6 months. You are still within that time frame. You could get out of AP any day now. Just stay strong and keep praying about it.

Wow not sure where to begin....I have been reading this forum for two days now. AP is ... to say the least a rough patch. To share a little bit. I filed a k1 petition for my fiance in Haiti. I attended the interview which made no difference because I wasn't even acknowledged during the interview. At the end of the short interview our case was placed on AP. The case is still at the embassy. We did submit additional requested papers (DS 157 and a second original divorce decree and a copy for myself) so I am not sure if they are reviewing the divorce decree again but it's almost as if they never recieved the first divorce decree. As far as the DS 157 we also submitted along with packet 3 but they requested another. So here I am.

If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it. My embassy review can be found in the Haiti embassy review portal.

What and how do you go about asking questions about Ap when you call the DOS????? When I call all I get is the NORMAL Your case is still under going Administrative Processing!

They will take some time to review your new documents. Your AP might not last long if that's all they do. If the embassy decides to do security checks then it can take months. Please keep us posted on what happens.

Cos my husband asked a question yesterday.. lol to see if the FBI reports have been finalized... and luckily this person answered but it all depends on the person you get.

Things are going alright. I called DOS and asked about the FBI checks the lady told me they didn't have access to that information. Every time I call I will ask that question until I get a straight answer. How can they give Eabbas that information if it's not in their system.

I love Thanksgiving Day. I enjoy cooking turkey and all the other foods that go with it. I made a promise to myself to not think about the visa on that day. I'm praying my husband will be here for Christmas.

I think my husband got someone at the end of the day that didnt wanna argue LOL ... but it really all depends on the person at the other end of the phone... Carolyn I pray this next week you get someone sympathetic enough to understand you just need something answered... or ask them in a way that they can tell you without telling you if that makes any sense... LOL

I think Adil just asked ... Have the FBI reports been finalized.... thats when she said no not yet but they are working on that. Try that... Ill pray they give you an answer this next week.!!!!!!

I had promised myself I wouldn't ask DOS anymore questions cause I never get a straight answer. I'm always confused after asking questions to them but it would be great to find out if FBI checks are done.
