My question to those who apply for expedite before. What is the next step? Unless you have a very GOOD reason you are wasteing USCISs and other peoples time requesting an expedite. Just ties up the phone lines more and moves everyone back a notch.

Yeah EVERYONE would like to be expedited but what a mess it would be if USCIS had to deal with the paperwork involved. We'd all going backwards. Unless it's critical fall in line with everyone else and "Hurry up and wait"!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

I agree -- USCIS is doing the best it can with too small a staff. Maybe you could share with us why you want your case rushed. Others may have had experience with such a reason...

If they gave you a confirmation number that means they thought your reason was good enough to take a look at it. You need to call them back and get either a fax number or a mail in address and send the supporting evidence as quickly as psosible because as you say if you have no supporting evidence what are they going to use to determine if they will give it or not. I would email them and ask what you should do other than that.

I didn't deal directly with the agencys for my expedite. You might want to contact your senator to ask for help. They have people at the various agencies that help them directly.

Good luck to you and I hope you hear something soon.

Good luck with the expedite. Depending on your situation, USCIS may request the evidence for the expedite, or they might not. Going with the Senators office may work, but it may be a moot situation since you have alreaady requested an expedite on your own. But either way, Good Luck!

You are very welcomed. When I joined VJ in March and told about my situation and wanting an expedite I got discouraged by several persons and almost starting to believe it wouldn't happen. Luckily, a few people on here encouraged me (and my hubby indirectly). Here we are 2+ months later with an interview appointment.

Never say never....the worst they can do is tell you no.

All the best.
