Salamat guys...The NVC is giving us a hard time about my b/c.. They said its not the original copy and now we have to wait for their supervisor to rereview our case again.. We sent them the one that I asked directly from the NSO and i dont understand why they said its just a copy..So, now, while we are waiting for them to finish reviewing "again" my papers, i am getting another copy of my b/c from NSO then take it to Malacanyang (just in case).. Maraming salamat po!!!!!!!

Just what is this for? Is it the I-130 application or have you been approved already? As I recall, the guidelines say it is OK to send copies. The originals are for the interview if the embassy asks for it.

I have an NSO-certified birth certificate. It is also certified by the DFA. Has anyone else had problems like this? Where did you get your BC? I got mine from eCensus.

NSO authenticated BC is enough! If you are out of the country there is also NSO online service but would take about 2-3 weeks..

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

Was your b/c on NSO paper? because that's what I submitted and it was fine.

Question lang po people from the Philippines... Do i need to take my b/c in Malacanyang to put the red ribbon when u send it to NVC or its not necessary?? thanks...

No need for red ribbon coz embassy will be the one to verify it and that's what we are paying for the P650 document verification.

Yes, i am already approved... Was just waiting for my papers to be reviewed and thats what we got from them.. Saying that my bc is just a copy which is not true. Theres an NSO letters all over that piece of paper with the original color, so i dont understand why they said it was just a simple copy.. So, now we are waiting for them to review once again my papers and hopefully they are gonna say CASE COMPLETE.. Thanks for the help!!!!!!
