Hey everybody!

There is one person on this forum that has made us a huge favor. I am talking about Loto (PatiencePaidOff), he put together a guide for the IR1/CR1 visa process.

I posted it on vjWiKi so it will be easily accessible to everyone and frequently updated. So give you opinion an critique so we can make it better.

Loto did you apply for duel citizenship (OCI).

raj, I applied for dual citizenship in the beginning of Jan 2008 and received the OCI certificate by the end of Feb 2008. OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) is NOT actually the dual citizenship. It is life long Indian visa with almost all Indian citizen's rights except a few. India has not implemented the true "dual citizenship" yet.
