My fiance and I filed for I-129F last month and we sent the original documents/proof i.e pictures, letters, bills, but we forgot to photocopy it.. we only photocopied the I-129F form and the other forms. Would this be a problem when time comes for my Embassy interview?

Please help me out on this. I just need some clarification

Thanks!!!

Shouldn't be a problem as what you sent will be forwarded to your embassy. Just start collecting more evidence of a bona fide relationship. Get copies of all your original certified documents also.

Good to know what info you put on the G325As for the interview.

You definitely should have made copies and sent them, but since that's in the past, you need to start collecting new evidence.

Believe me, when you get to the consolate, they are not going to spend time looking at what was sent them by the NVC, they want you to provide them everything they require, on-the-spot. That includes pictures, e-mails, phone records, and anything else to prove a bona fide relationship.

If you sent "originals" of certified copies, you'll need new ones for the interview. If you requrie your originals back...make sure you ask for them at the interview or you'll never see them again.

Thank you for everyone who replied! This is great that at least I shouldn't worry that much. We still have other "evidences" and such. I was just too worried that they would make me come up with what we sent, although I have the letters, forms copied not just the pictures, plane tickets, etc.
