Hello guys,

I called the CSC RFE line two time, and both ladies told me that there is a RFE on my file and they don't see what it is. Both said that it will take two weeks to get it in mail. We are not in a good condition and we need this to be done ASAP.

As you might know, I filed my I-130 in Feb. 2006 base on my GC and then upgraded to USC petition. When I filed I sent them require documents for that time. you guys have recently applied and know better that anyone else what is required.

Could you guys please list those necessary documents for me?

Appreciate your help.

PS. if I know what is the missing documents before get a letter, can I just mail them these information?

If I were you I would just hang tight even though the waiting is a killer. It may be something simple they are requesting and in the meantime, you cannot preempt it. At least you know once they get this additional info from you, your approval won't be too far away.

The guide section of VJ has listed all the documents required to file I-130, may be you can go down the list trying to figure out what you didn't mail.

I know it's nerve wrecking to wait for two weeks do not know what goes wrong, but there is really no shortcut for this.

You have to wait for the hardcopy of RFE notice to know what is required and mail the documents and the RFE notice back a.s.a.p with express mail.

Oh, thanks.

I should probably contact James  for new shortcuts.

Two weeks is stupid

I don't want to post another thread (I hate posting too much threads) but part of I-130 which wasn't requiered back then when I applied is probably; a document that show our relationship.

joint account (I don't have) - affidavit of a family member (they are not here, requesting such a thing will take 100 years) I have none of the requierments to show a relationship right now except phone bills and other stuff but what kind of good document I can send them in case the RFE is on that?

Any help is appreciated

NOTE: We have only Tax documentation showing our jointly tax for IRS, would that help??

We didn't have much proof for bona fide marriage too. My husband mailed a couple of photos, a letter from his parents and a few cards addressed to both of us. We didn't get a RFE for lack of bona fide proof.

My husband assumed people in USCIS don't read Malay, so he sent them only the Marriage cert in English. We got a RFE for marriage cert in original language.

I had all the documents filed. I am afraid if they have lost any of them. It sucks. More waiting for me.

I should start to but USCIS stock, I may get rich at least.
