HI Vjrs,

My husband just left last 9th so I have been figuring out what to do while going through this separation for a while.

Anything productive you guys did? or for friends who are also waiting, what you guys doing right now?

When I left my fiancee in the US, I started a new job working at a cafeteria. It's not great but it pays well and it did help to distract me from missing him everyday.

Now I have some time off so I'm going to see my family and friends... also plan together, when you're next going to see each other and talk about that. Focus on how every day that passes is one more day of waiting for approval or whatever it might be that you're waiting for in the process.

I also focus on taking care of my hamster (she's adorable) and even doing lone activities. Reading, writing, researching for my upcoming school project.

oh dear! I am planning to get a pet, or I guess just work. The more you do something the more you won't notice time.

For the one year separation (last time I saw him was July 17, 2007), I still have retail biz to occupy my mind but on top of that I have taken short courses on flower arrangement, reflexology, therapeutic massage.. learned photoshop, simple web designing... got more involved with church activities and got more involved on VJ :whistle: . After we received the visa, i have been trying to spend more time with friends (sadly all of them are not always available coz of work schedules).

Try to enjoy time with friends and family, when you receive the visa, everything will move so much faster. :thumbs:

I had part-time that time when I was still in the Philippines. Then visitied my relatives that I have never seen for a long time. Go out with friends and family because once you are here, you will miss them. :)

i was working when i was waiting for visa.. and meeting up friends.. you can also try having an eyeball here in VJ.. Good Luck!
