I am so frustrated right now. I thought if the USC will call them they will give an interview date but now my fiance just talked with them and he was told to wait for two weeks and wait for the letter. I was hoping I can have my medical this week and be interviewed by August but now things are really messing up. I've seen people here who got interview date 2-3 days after their file was received by the embassy. I don't know why they can't give us a schedule yet.

thanks. do you think it's okay to call Grace first to ask if we can now schedule for the interview before calling them again because our PIN has only 1 try left?

I was the one (the beneficiary) who called the embassy and scheduled my interview. Some of the applicants are havong a hard time talking to the call rep agents. They dont seem to know what they are talking about.

Try to call everyday until you get a date. One agent says things different from the other agents.

Give USEM a week after your case left NVC. Goodluck!

You can schedule the interview exactly 2 weeks after you are assigned the case number from NVC (number starts with "MNL"). In the meantime you can go ahead and knock out the medical, which has to be at least a week before the interview anyways (so the results get to the USEM in time).

Give yourself 2 days for the medical and 2 days for the interview (if you haven't already attended the CFO seminar, which is offered in Manila & Cebu). From what I've read the Manila CFO seminar takes 2 hours & the Cebu seminar takes all day!

What really frustrates me more is that matchbox got an interview date last Fri and our case was sent by NVC and received by embassy on the same date. I am not even sure if i will get that letter because my landlady doesn't give our letters on time. I plan to resign by Sept 1 while our accountant is still here (she was transferred to Singapore office) so she can process my last pay check but now it seems that things are not going my way. I will ask my fiance to call again by Wednesday. Thanks for the comforting words chrislei and hanny perez. It means a lot.

Do you think I can have the medical even without the email confirmation of interview sched from the USE? I only have with me the letter from NVC.

When do you intend to call again? Please keep me updated. We are in the same boat.

I called every other day until they gave me the option to make a appointment. They were always pleasent and did not say anything negative even when they read the case notes and saw that it said to call them back in 2 weeks. Hang in there.

hi I'm just curious you mean they were able to give you an appointment even with that note? how did you convince them to give you appointment. thanks for your reply.

I am pretty sure you can get the medical with the NVC case number but I would call Saint Lukes hospital in Manila and confirm that. I wish I could give you a definite answer but I can't (my fiancee is getting her medical done this week). Good luck and if I get more info after this week I will let you know!

The call rep agent that got to talk to said that I can present the confirmation letter to the guard at SLEC for my medical appointment. I didnt have the letter from NVC/USEM then. I dont really know if they will allow you to have a medical appointment without the confirmation letter.

Better call for interview appointment first..Everything will be alright. Dont panic :)
