Hi there, I am a CR1 case and was interviewed on July 3rd. According to Delbros my DV was forwarded to NSO on July 4th but until now I still don't have my visa. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant, and the last date I can travel is September 13, as per Northwest Airlines. Hopefully, I will receive my visa before the end of the month and give birth in USA. It is a lot less headache if I deliver there instead here in the Philippines.Hope you get your visa soon...

thanks.. hope you get yours soon as well.. PAL is a little strict when it comes to preggy passengers. and besides im 36 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I'm due to give birth anytime next week.

id have to apply for CRBA as soon as baby is born... headache comes my way once more...

my co was a young pretty american... just the pre screener get my baptismal because my birhtcertificate was late registered un lang

weird nga sakin. coz there's nothing wrong with my NSO documents.

i guess may delay lang talaga sa Delbros at NSO! its frustrating...

kasi you've paid in advance pero they still cant seem to get their acts together...

I was interviewed last August 5.

I went through the pre-screening (which took longer than my interview with the CO)

then finger print scanning

Finally consulate officer interview with a pretty young American lady (i can't forget how her ring looks. its too damn nice)

she asked me a few questions. like how did me and my spouse meet, blah blah

she said, "everything looks very well fine. kindly wait outside for your name to be called and then they'd give you instructions on what to do next)

we both bid goodbyes and exchanged thank yous

it didn't take too long i guess coz she knew and obviously i look and i am pregnant (8mos going 9)

so, it has not been 5 minutes since i was seated outside after the CO interview. my name was called on window 38 (as most of us knows, the releasing window)

the young lady there asked me if I already paid the delbros document verification fee. i said YES. she asked for the receipt. I gave it. I paid it on July 25, 2008. She handed me a pink slip stating that i have to pay the visa delivery fee. she also gave me the letter (WHITE PAPER).

At first, I thought I had to fill it out since I didn't check it right away. So i asked her what to do with it. She said its just a confirmation letter. i said, Ok thanks.

I went to the Delbros area, filled out the form, payed the 250 pesos delivery fee.

Im kind of bothered as to what the white paper means. Can anybody explain what that means? Just for my peace of mind. Thanks a lot for your responses.

Same thing happend to me girl. I had my interview last June 18 and i got pink slip and the white form with no check marks on it. Don't worry your pretty head about it it's just normal since your document is still under verification at the NSO. Now, what irritates me that time was when i paid Delbros June 4, the request for my DV was forwarded too late which was a month after I paid Delbros specifically July 4. It stayed NSO for almost 3 weeks time and 1 week back to embassy for printing. Now, if you want to estimate the delivery time for your visa you need to email Delbros first or either text them and inquire when did they forwarded the request for your DV to the NSO? When they give you the date then you can add the maximum of 3 weeks stay for the DV plus 1 week there in embassy plus 1 week maximum delivery time if you are living far in the province (no problem if your within Mnl it will come right thru that day or the next day).

i've texted Delbros and they said July 25 nasa NSO na yung documents. I called NSO right away to check if it was with them. And Richard confirmed that it arrived July 25 nga.

If that's the case, I'd wait til August 25 for my visa packet to arrive... then again, kukulitin ko pa din sila from time to time.

the best thing to do next is to call NSO.

para ma-verify mo kung nandun na nga yung papers mo. kasi ako nung nagtext sa delbros at sinabi na July 25 nasa NSO na, tumawag ako agad sa NSO para i-confirm. sabi nung nakausap ko, si Richard, nasa kanila na daw at medyo matatagalan dahil 15 working days ang verification tsaka pa lang nila ibabalik sa USEM.

hay! i told to my husband he make a call to nso he did this morning then they ask the case number then they said 2 weeks waaahhhhhhhh pero tawagan ko parin.... ang gulo eh! ask ko kung kailan nila nakuha ung papers ko arrgg.....

waaahhh sana makuha na nating visa natin so fast.....

advise sakin ni dAlip, tawagan lang everyday NSO at Delbros to make follow ups. so yun ang gagawin ko.

yung husband ko, i instructed him to call the USEM every other day to check on the status.

pero the best na gawin talaga eh magdasal... nothing beats the power of prayers.. keep the faith. Trust in Him..
