08.05.2010 - Biometrics done! (had to re-schedule from 7/26 to 8/5)

08.13.2010 - Got my interview letter

08.20.2010 - EAD card on production

09.06.2010 - Got my EAD Card (62 days)

09.16.2010 - Interview schedule (APPROVED)

Can I ask you some question, I see your I129F and I130 both approved on same date. Did u have choice to pick route to with I129F or I130. Which one is best?

Congratulations on your visa!!! :thumbs:

You have 6 months to leave the country and enter the US and since you received a K3 visa (based on your timeline), you will have to file for AOS once you arrive. The AOS instructions can be found in the Guides of VJ if you're not familiar with them.

Both were approved in March, but we went ahead with K3(129-f) because it's a lot faster. I think I-130 sits at NVC for a long, long time. Good luck.

Actually, with a K-3 you have 2 years to leave your home counrty and enter the US. Then you must AOS.
