i just called nvc and the girl told me i shouldn't pay iv bill online because they are having trouble.

they said payments aren't processing appropriately.

has anyone had success with this lately?

should i try it or not? i don't want to waste extra days with the mail and processing checks....

I think the only problems is when you pay too early, like I did with my IV bill. I paid my AOS bill when it was generated and it seems to be ok. but of course when I saw I could pay the other part, I did, when I should've waited for them to generate a bill

Hey happyinlove012408...from looking at your timeline it looks like you paid after you heard the AVR say that the bills had been generated. Is this true?

It could be that paying them too early messes up the payments.

I was told yesterday, that it was'nt working, but he would give me the IIN anyway. My husband payed it yesterday and at 12:30 pm today i checked and the status was paid. So i guess it worked for us.

I would try it.

Yeah, but it's true they do have problems with the Online payment... I read the other day that a guy paid 3 times.... and then he fought we evidence for his $800, and he got them after several months (i read it, somewhere here at VJ) it really won't change your timeline if you use james's shortcut and send it overnight!!!! that way you know for sure that you won't loose your money!!!

We paid succesfully online, but we knew it was high risk!!
