Mia I think just the divorice certificate is all they will want, but if you can take both I would just in case, however hold the marriage certificate in reserve unless they ask for it.

PEOPLE HELP ME WITH THIS:

I am still confused with the affidavit, there is something that I don't get, in my w-2 I make (Gross pay)$34.000 and in my 1040 in the line # 22 that says This is your total income it says $20.000 which one counts for the poverty guidelines?, If nobody here knows i will post in main forum. I am concerned because I have seen people who go to interview and they tell them they don't meet the income, maybe that's the reason?.

Thanks guys!

The USEM in Manila wants my SO's NBI Clearance to say "NO DEROGATORY RECORD". My SO's clearance says No Criminal Record, it's supposed to be good right?

This has been brought up in the phils forum, it's one of those not real consistant things that the USEM sometimes throws a fit about, I'm guessing it is when someone's name also matches a name with a record... but generally what has been said is the first time you get your NBI it says something to the effect of no record (at all) and then the next time and any time after it states no derogatory record... something to do with the first time a request is made, they make a new entry for the person... but either way it's stupid that the embassy doesn't know this when a lot of people in an online forum do...

Cuchita: One number is what you really make (the net) and is the 34,000... the other number is likely your taxable income or your income after taxes/medicare/ira's/health insurance etc is taken out.

It sounds like they just had a brain fart, and should have wrote May 18 instead of March 18, go to a local office and see what you need to do to correct it, hopefully they won't require you to go to the PoE to correct it or anything extreme like that.

Cuchita: 34,000 is what you'd put.
