Just got the NOA2!!!!!!!!!! Its been 6 months minus 17 days. About time. I was feeling just like its unjust blah blah nothing had even been updated since 8 22 08 even at 5 this evening...got an email at 7 15 and the website was updated. I put in a request to the congressman the week before (since the senator explained that as a state senator he doesn't deal with federal matters). About time! To all those waiting, keep in mind that the approval can come at ANY TIME

I received an email from The Department of Homeland Security today, February 2, 2009 at 7:25pm. I am currently in Cartagena, Colombia visiting my fiance. I have been here 2 days, but today I received the greatest gift in my NOA2 approval. I filed for the fiance visa on August 11, 2008. I honestly did not realize how overcome with emotion that Ana and I would be about receiving the NOA2! We laughed together, we cried together and most importantly we thanked God for our NOA2!

I thought I would be approved by November, so I put that we would be married in November 2008. Now that we have the NOA2, I can probably safely say that we will get married sometime in April!

Nice pics of your sweetie and Colombia!

Since you shared a nice video, I figured I'd share some pics and videos of Thailand including my sweetheart and I eating grasshoppers (she saw I was a grasshopper eater which made her decide I was down to earth enough to talk to)...Angkor Wat (our first trip together) and other boring and interesting pics and vids....

I should increase it to a nice album down the road.

Oh and the expensive looking gas stations selling gas out of pepsi bottles in Cambodia (nice touch), I think a couple pics of her house (where we'll marry...it is what it is but it's her home so i won't knock it). They say when in Rome, do as the Romans so I slept next to the smelly cows in the screen/windowless place with enormous rats fighting in the rafters and you can see moonlight outside through the walls of the house. I work in the rice paddy's a bit (not easy) and got overheated till my heart was content!

I'm feeling so worried today, it's driving me mental, still no mail, still no nothing.

Chris goes in to USCIS again on Wednesday, though it looks like snow there tomorrow.... is that another excuse for them to close up shop on Wednesday? I am so sick of the crappy crappy excuses that USCIS has. The worst bit is Chris is a DC resident, that means no representation, no congressman, no sentor, nobody to get to USCIS about our case

Arrrgh!!!!! I just feel like tearing my hair out, good god I hope he has good news on Wednesday, hell some sort of news would be good, Im really at the end of my rope and im not sure how much longer I can hang here for.

<3 to all my August family, thank you for keeping me strong till now, but all these wonderful approvals (yes they are wonderful) are really making it hurt now.
