Thanks guys for your nice words, as i sit and think here we will be the last couple approved for visa from the bunch of people here...but we will stay with you in your great and bad times, why not meet one day in usa all of us, would be interesting to remember what we have been through and share how our life is going, we will pick a place somewhere in the middle for everyone lol

Dani, sounds like a fun idea, but that asks the question, where is everyone headed stateside???

Chris and I are going to stay in Washington DC area, he works there and hopefully it wont be too hard for me to pick up work in one of the more multicultural cities lol.

I'm going to a town in Illinois, Bloomington, very close to Chicago where Chris is living and working

i also hope he will hire me for his assistant cause we cant live apart lol i'm kidding, we do talk

i will be heading to clover South Carolina, i absolutely love it, omg macdonalds and kfc are soooooo much better than UK lol.

The people are so friendly, children are well mannered and polite everyone says hello to you, here in the UK well lets just leave it there lol

i think the food will take some getting used to, my fiance is a southern boy and eats biscuits and gravy for breakfast ewwwwww.

i really cant wait though i love everything about the town, kids have a ball my son was a football player and my daughter a cheerleader they cant wait to go back.

That's really awesome that your kids are keen, that makes life so much easier!

I am really missing DC, and the irratating bit is they keep broadcasting from there on the news at the moment because of the election and the stock crash. I miss little things, like being able to run down the national mall in the morning and the ease and convience of the metro.

yeah but... ex husband not so keen lol, i got to wait for visas to be approved then fight him him in UK court, wouldnt mind so much but werent that interested in them until he knew we wanted to go then became father of the year over night.

last time i took my son to USA i had to leave $9000 with the British courts it was given back when we returned but still i had to come back on the exact date.

i cant wait until its all over i hope your journey runs smooth.

I really hope that the whole issue with the ex sorts itself out, I hate it when it comes down to court, hopefully your kids will in the end be in the best situation and have the best opportunites.
