Gemmie, I am glad that you're here safe and sound. Well, come to think of it, my fiance will come visit me here in December and probably, I should have the NOA2 by then *hopeful*. And there wouldn't be a need for me to have to go there and risk not being able to get through immigration. Oh well. I really miss him though.

I am happy too. I got a new "toy" guys. Hehehehe. My fiance sent me a magicjack! It is amazing. I can call him anytime and he can call me too without any problems! I got a US phone number now. It's really cool. The reception is very clear, even better than the Vonage VoIP And it's only for $19.99/year. It's absolutely amazing and I love every bit of it.

I'm very lucky that I have a landline in my room that my fiance can call unlimited for $40 per month. We're definetely going to get Vonage when I move though to talk to family and friends!

And guys, an August filer just got their 129F Petition approved the other day at the VSC... 50 days approval from date of filing... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! August filers getting approved... OOOOHHHH, we are next!!!

*sniff sniff* it is really sad. I remember when I left my honey last June, we were both crying at the security gates of the airport...

Tell me about it. This is the 9th time of breaking down at the security gate... I hate that place!! Bill makes me promise every time to be a good girl and get on the plane, and not to look back as I go through security. If I do, we both know I wouldn't be able to do it.

Luckily, my friends have all been waiting for me to get back to the UK (haven't seen most of them since June) and I have a lot of schoolwork to prepare for. I'm hoping it will be enough to distract myself until December. Then I'm going to try the POE again!! I know, I'm crazy...

Mara, it must be so hard living all of those miles away. I actually can't imagine not being able to visit the US for a year. Well done you for being so brave! I know you feel you have no other choice but in reality, everyone in this situation chooses to stay brave for the love they hold.

HD, it's a tough call whenever you try to get through POE, especially being as you're from the PI. Personally, I would get as much evidence as possible and take the risk. I was over the moon when I got over the border after all of the problems there. However, keep in mind that there is a chance you won't get through and that would be heartbreaking. It's all a big risk with big consequences either way. Let us know what you decide.

I hope people begin to recieve their NOA1's, those who haven't recieved it officially yet! Just remember, you're still an August filer and are in the pile.

Sorry if i snapped at anyone yesterday guys had all my wisdom teeth out on Thursday (aussie time) and all the antibotics and painkillers are messing with my head something bad

Gemmie, Vonage is a good possiblity another suggestion you may wish to consider though is skype (the world's greatest invention) I have already taken the opportunity to set my parents and my best friend up with it on their pc's means that I can call them PC to PC and talk just like a phone call and it is all free.

Might be an idea if your the kind of person who calls a couple of times a week (like i know i will when i first head over lol).

Dani grats on your touch its great news, and as gemmie meantioned, we are pretty much at the half way point, looks like hopefully this won't be as long as we thought

As fars as UK goes i just got a great deal with sky, i pay £15 per month that includes line rental and all international calls are free up to one hour, hang up after 59 minutes and call back,

Ahh Skype is a great thing. Only reason we prefer the phone is because we're lazy and like to talk whilst laying in bed or whatever. Having said that, Bill is fine with using the ol' IM, but I can't survive without vocal conversation everyday.

Lol I know the issue with the voice chatting and wanting to be in bed, lucky for me I have a laptop that Chris gave me to keep in touch with so I can have my cake and eat it too.

The one thing i have found is that Chris actually loves talking on the phone (well at least to me), its nice to know that when all is said and done we can hold a meaningful conversation over a good 3 or 4 hours....

So much for this men allergic to the phone myth...

Sadly no Donna, we are still number and NOA1 lacking.

The bank is mailing the receipt (check) to Chris at work and USCIS has resent the NOA1 to his workplace as well.

Unfortunately the Chick who has the mail box key has been away.... so we are still very much in the dark
