August 2008 Filers

Ouch, 79cents an hour? Thats just cruel!!!

If you have a closer look, you will see that the 2 people who have posted in here that have been approved, were acutally july filers, but recieved their NOA2 in August. Whilst its great news, Im holding out on the real excitiment and nerves till a whole breed August filer from vsc gets one.

In saying this, if they really have hired more people that is super! Igor's list is moving steadily in the right direction and my NOA2 prediction has moved back to mid Jan, if this means a new years NOA2 for me I'll be estatic.

Oh would you believe that it's the 26th of November in Aus already?

Can someone pls xplain IGOR'S LIST to me? I don't seem to understand what's all about, pls help, i'm sick of been ignorant about it, thanks...........don't laugh at me LOL.

Today is the last day that CSC can give me a birthday NOA2, since we haven't seen a hint of an august approval at CSC yet, it's time to fall back to the realistic (but still somewhat optimistic) plan of a christmas NOA2.

According to Igor's VSC doesn't need more employees as much as CSC... but I think that's just how things look from a k-1 perspective, since they both handle a huge load of other types of applications. I suspect that overall CSC is a faster service center, just not for k-1's. I have to agree that we haven't seen a true august filer approval yet, but the more approvals the better in my book, and we can see the date creeping forward steadily (with VSC filers... the CSC isn't doing much of anything but at least the bulk of approvals seem to be 7-23 dates so probalby not too far behind VSC yet).

Birthday boy, you might need to help us explain Igor's to Kenny and Ugochi.

Igor's List - The moment you create a timeline in VJ, you will be included in the database (Igor's List) of VSC or CSC filers for K1 and K3. There, you will see where your progress is at least based on your timeline as to when you will probably be approved as well as see the most recent approvals from VSC or CSC.

You right CSC is not too far in a week they catch up , its like when there's lot of traffic and you try to move to the lane that's faster and all of a sudden the cars that you left behind start passing you.

When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. So I thought I would pass it on to my friends.....enjoy

Give this a try.

8 - 15 lb. turkey

1 cup melted butter

1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is Good.)

1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT)

Salt/pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn.

Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.

Listen for the popping sounds. When the turkey's ### blows the oven door open and the bird flies across the room, it's done.

And, you thought I didn't cook...

I got singing and happy birthdays at work too, but I'm way way more excited at the prospect of a LOOOOONG thanksgiving weekend, I'm actually kind of even feeling like the whole turkey eating part of it is a distraction from enjoying the ridiculously long weekend, and I think I've mentioned how much I like thanksgiving (AND TURKEY!!!!) about 80 times in this thread haha. I'm not sad about not getting a NOA2 yet, as I don't really expect it, but I'm at least a little sad at how few CSC approvals there have been, waiting in line is a lot easier when the lines moving fast!
