Well it looks like we Augustine CSCers better start getting ready for the approvals to start coming down soon. I am wondering though why the processing dates jump around so much. The good news though is we at least know that most of us will see an approval before Christmas but some of us, like ourselves, will see an approval soon after the new year. But who knows its going to be an exciting next 4 weeks.....

So I am hoping that when an Augustine from CSC gets an approval that they will update their timeline and post to the forum so we can all get an idea of what they are processing at CSC....

But good luck to everyone, as we move on into December soon...

and oh...Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at VJ!!!!

Fred is 114 on igor's, and ANGRY AT CSC lol... if it cheers you up any though... for comparison I'm 151... cheer up, 114! You are one half decent week from creeping under the 100 mark and I'm still practically a month out from having that happen. It used to be when you hit 100 you were due just about any time, but I think the shortened processing date range has probably moved that to the 50-75 on the list range... Anyway, we are definitely close, and definitely getting sick of the wait too.

We are 158 on Igor's List....and in the last few weeks our number has went backwards from 154 to 158. So I am not sure how accurate this list is. But its fun to watch. I will just be happy to see others from August CSC to get their approvals. We are somewhere in that pile. Maybe near the bottom, but we are in there somewhere.

I also hope that things will accelerate come Monday Dec 1. Because around Christmas we might want to expect a serious slowdown period because CSC employees will be taking Christmas leave. So I am guessing the first 20 days of Dec will be crucial to all August filers. Of those 20 days, there will be 15 working days.

The moving around on the list is a result of more people finding visajourney as they get impatient with the whole process. I knew of visajourney before I had filed so when I filed I put my timeline up right away, I think I started out around 350ish or so... according to igor's there have been 226 approvals since I started dropping me to 125ish)... but there has also been at least 100 peoples timelines drop off for being outside hte processing dates, likely close to 200 but I don't have a way to check that... so there's been probably 400 people who filed ahead of me who most likely have been approved (whether they ever updated their timeline or not) and I've only moved 200 places on the list... crazy ain't it... probably 2/3 or more of the list of people ahead of me found Visajourney after they had already been waiting a few months and were wondering what the deal was... that's why you are going the wrong direction on the list, the closer we get to a NOA2 date the less chance more people will jump in ahead of us, people likely to find the site would have found it already, and the closer we get the less chance of other people who are waiting unapproved ahead of us.

Basically for every step forward on the list it's the result of 2 NOA2's (again I'm presuming almost everyone on the list will receive a NOA2 and that the out of date people probably received their NOA2 and failed to update... with a few notable exceptions of course). This is the average over a 3 month period, at the start I'm sure it was likely 4 or 5 to 1 and now it's probably closer to 1.5 to 1 because fewer people will jump ahead of me in line on the list now.

It's 112 now fred... your position on the list is way more fun to watch than my own... first it's close to 100 which is automatically cool... second... if it goes the wrong way, it doesn't bother me as much as watching my own jump 3 or 4 spots in the wrong direction...
