Have not read all the thread, but would it not be better to put together a fund so that she can go to Morocco ... to see his burial or later tomb and/or visit his family? Maybe little more comforting then an advert. But in any case my prayers go (still) out to her and the family. Miskeena!

When I paypal it to her, she should have access to it in 3-5 days.

No need to express mail it Charles. Just send it normal. She is still writing up the details. I am waiting to hear back from her as to whether or not she has a paypal. If not, I do and will make sure she gets anything sent on her behalf.

will do

jackie, $20 will be on the way tomorrow.

jackie, $20 sent, should be there by sat.

Thanks for your kindness (F) I started writing our wedding announcement while in Morocco. My husband loved the idea and was excited it would appear in the newspaper... Ironically, now it will be a wedding/obituary announcement !!

Writing has always held therapeutic value for me and this is also a way to honor him, let people know I did have a husband (for a brief time) and that we were happy. I will make sure the published piece is made available to those of you who made contributions ~ It's important to me that you are assured your $$ was handled appropriately.

I agree on the abovek - not sure if enough funds will be raised. However, if so, by all means a trip to Morocco might be a good idea.

Either way, we'll continue to keep you in our prayers.

I left you there in the garden,

My return to you soon planned,

Long walks in the twilight,

As we strolled hand in hand.

Our days filled with laughter,

Our nights a splendid bliss.

The One above had other plans,

Maybe His need for you greater than mine.

He took you from me so quickly,

And left me on this shore to live.

How unfair that time for us has stopped,

When we both had so much love to give.

The love that we shared will be eternal,

My memories will never fade,

So I'll leave you in the garden,

To rest there in the shade.

Know, my love, that I will be with you,

When it is my time to go,

And we'll rest there in the garden,

Our love a light to brighten the way,

In a life that has suddenly turned so gray.

So, rest my love, till it is our time again,

Rest there in the garden,

That time will never change.

Henna, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I cannot pretend that I know the sorrow that you must have felt, the pain. I can only wish for you the happiness of your memories of the short time you shared with your husband. Nothing can take that away from you, nothing can change those. I pray that God and all the angels in heaven work swiftly to lighten your heart, to take some of the pain from you.

Tammy

My life has been blessed with the love of 4 of the sweetest men in the world. James, Jonathan, Nicolas, and Islam, my sons and my S/O.

OPSSSSSSS I DID IT AGAIN!

I am amazed that despite all the past mess we have seen in MENA, when a sister is down, everyone puts the mess aside and comes in full support. :luv: You guys are the best.

Thanks Maggie - I second that!

I hadn't been as active for quite some time because of some of the mess - but all the positive that I've seen lately has just made me want to be more active in our little community.

I am so sad to hear of some of the news, but also pleasantly amazed at how everyone pulls together.

Henna, I hope as the days pass the hurt and the saddness fades away. God bless you and your family. Sorry we could not do more!
