Hey VJ'ers,

Just wanted to tell you guys about my husband's experience in Hamburg for his medical appointment. He had his appointment at 10:00am and didn't get out until 12:00pm. The whole thing costed 125EUR and that included 2 vaccinations he needed. While he was there, they measured all his body statistics (weight, height, reflexes and what not). They had him take a urine test and a blood test. They took an X-Ray of his lungs. Lastly, they asked him many questions about his general health - Has he taken any drugs? Does he smoke? Does he drink (how much)? They also questioned him about the scars on his body. Other than that, a 2 hour drive to Hamburg and 2 hours at the Doctor's office and a 2 hours drive back - he's in good shape.

Oh, just a small bit of information... I don't know if anyone else had to do it, but he had to fill out 6 pages of random information and it was all in English. They accept Euros (cash) as payment there. All the test results will be sent to Frankfurt, the only thing my husband kept was his lung x-ray to bring to the consulate.

Hope that helps!

The interview is in 9 days!!! Wish us luck!!

Regards,

Przy
