i saw that someone was talking about having problems because of a bancrupsy, my fiance filed for bankrupsy i don tknow when, was years ago, but will i have a problem now?

I am assuming your fiancé is the petitioner? If so, they only care that he is able to meet the 125% poverty level. They don't look at bankruptcies and that sort of thing.

really? i would think that would make sence, but i saw on the main page someone got some kind of blue slip and had to send in all kinds of information about the bankruptsy and they were meeting the 125% thats y i started wondering

Hmmm...not sure then. The bankruptcy question has been asked on here before and so far no one that I remember reading about had to submit information regarding this. Live and learn. Would be good info to know why it was requested.

Maybe another country? I've never heard of this in terms of Canada, however you never know. My understanding is as long as you met the minimum requirement of support, that financial history wasn't an issue.

its possible that other person did not have the required 125% income, or did not initially prove that they had income.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card
