I am trying to follow the Guide_for_IR1_or_CR1_Visa.doc written by lotofpatience thanks buddy.

Since I just heard from the automated response abt my case #, I am ready to send the agent choice email but the document says: 1 week after NVC assigns case # "NVC Generates and sends a copy of the DS-3032 (Choice of Agent form) to the petitioner"

So question is do I need to wait till NVC generates DS3032 and I receive it or can this be emailed before that's done?

I'd say call again on tuesday (system updates every tuesday and saturday and if it's generated send it then.

Thanks Jamericanlove...looks like both of our case got into NVC at same time. Also where did u get that info about system updates tuesday and saturday..it does seem true..as all day friday no updates..today it said NVC case #...

btw, wow ur I130 got approved in 45 days..thats just amazing....

Once it is generated you can email them. You don't have to wait until your receive it from NVC. It does take upto 2 weeks for them to accept the email DS-3032. Make sure you get an autoresponse once you email. It will probably be 1 minute after your email. Good luck.

Try to get your IIN (invoice identification number) from a NIGHT SHIFT operator at NVC. Call around 10 or 11 PM EST. DOn't tell them you want to pay online. Just say something like you want it just for your records. But night shift operators will give you the IIN anyway even if you don't tell them your reason.

once you get your IIN, immediately go to the state website for AOS online payment. If the AOS fee bill status says "NOT PAID," that means your AOS and your DS-3032 has been generated already. You can pay the AOS fee bill there and then if you want using your checking account OR you can wait until you received the hard copy in the mail. If you decide to pay, as soon as you are done entering your info, the status should change to IN PROCESS. Wait a couple of days for this to change to PAID. Once it has turned to PAID, print out the barcode cover sheet and express mail it to the address on the cover sheet.

You may then email your DS-3032 at this time. I suggest using a GMAIL or HOTMAIL or any other account other than YAHOO. You should receive and automated reply from NVC. NVC might take a while to receive this one. I'm not sure since they haven't received mine yet.

AVR: mine never said "Your AOS fee bill and DS-3032 has been generated." After i paid the AOS online, it just changed to "NVC received the AOS fee bill on ____." So now, i am waiting for it to say that they have accepted the DS-3032 so that i can pay my IV fee bill..

You're welcome, but don't let the 45 days fool ya...I had an expedite request. Seeking another one for NVC as well, but unlike USCIS they are closed on weekends so I can't do anything until monday....bummer. Thank goodness NVC is faster than USCIS...the worst is over.

my was also a case of expedite. I didnt know about NVC expedite procedures. I guess you're referring it to http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_2796.html

He did not give me an IIN as he said ur case is not started processing yet.

Did anybody lately (last week or two) pay using nvc online payment system? If yes, how did u guys get your IIN? Is it true night shift operators are better in giving information...that would be really weird.

Yeah Mystique....apparently the night shift people are the only ones who will give out the invoice number. I'm going to try tonight at about 10pm and hopefully I'll get through. It is weird...but then again is anything normal with these places?

That's true, we have proved that the night shift is nicer than the day shift....

I wouldnt recomend you to send the ds3032 by email thoug, it's better by mail, I have known many. many cases now that never got anything after the autoresponse, and they have to mail it after all, i mean, it won't change your timeline at all and you will be sure that they will get it!!!!!!!! wait untilit is generated, and ds 3032 for me by email did not work and i also mailed them a hard copy to nvc as backup, just to safe mail a hard copy also.

I got my IIN by a night shift operator - no questions asked lady was nice. I will always be calling NVC at nights now

NVC Invoicing site shows "NOT INVOICED" so cannot pay until that changes. Not sure how long it usually takes to generate DS3032 & AOS fee bill - 1, 2, 3 weeks?

I emailed mine and they received it but it takes a few days to a week to update in the system.. but just use the form by lots of patience .... wish you the best!
