Hello!!! Just one question! If I met my fiance in 2003, do I have to prove it or the evidence that we met during this last 2 years will be enought? Cuz that is what I understood...basicly he lived in Italy from 2003 till 2006, we were friends first and became a couple..the only thing I need to provide is just that we've beeing seeing each other withing this last 2 years right? Even if we wrote on question 18 of Form 129F that we met for the first time in 2003? OMG! So crazy ! LOLO

I think if you can prove the two years then you should be fine. But, if you have proof of your relationship since 2003 that would be GREAT  If you do not then as long as you have proof of your relationship is what is their concern.

The part regarding two years...is basically requesting proof that you and your fiance has met within the last two years of your dating as a requirement...I do not think it is a requirement that you have to have been dating for at least two years if I understand your question correctly.

Someone with more knowledge will be able to supply you with further information. But, this is the answer I gathered from my point of view from your question. I hope this was helpful. :star:

You need to provide evidence showing you met within the last two years. That is the requirement. If you met him in 2003, then never saw him again and are now filing the K1, that's not okay.

Showing you've met within the last two years is enough though, as, like mentioned before, that IS is the requirement.

When asked how/when/where you met, give your answer. Be sure to include that you've seen each other personally during the last two years.
